Fairly boring day today. Got up the mountain and it was snowing all morning. Went off with the boys but then just did my own thing and skied by myself for the morning. Got down about midday after skiing for the morning and went out for and Onsen. past the foot bar and they were showing football so thought I would pop in there for a beer and watch Arsenal against Wolves for a bit. Met another Aussie, Jeff, and we had a good chat and a few beers. Also tried this great dish in there called YakoTaki or TakoYaki??? Basically it is fried squid balls (shape not body part…) which was lovely. Spoke to the girl in the bar and she recommended a great Onsen – more of a spa – in this nice hotel, the Nozawa Grand Hotel. Head back to our hotel to see if anyone wants to come but its just me and Anna. Great spa/onsen and definitely going back tomorrow for our last day in Nozawa.
